Significance of the Logo

The simple yet vibrant representation of the new SIASU Logo comprises four key elements.

	Almost completely circumscribed by the circle of unity among personnel, the bird, the graphic symbol of an aircraft, breaks free, soaring away and beyond. The use of Singapore Airlines' characteristic blue and yellow is especially significant.
	Intersecting the aircraft is the truncated triangle, that denotes interaction with other airlines through provision of ground handling and maintenance services.
	Stripes within the triangle indicate the numerical strength of the clientele.
	Below the acronym SIASU, is the shaded quadrilateral that symbolises the encompassing of the wide cross-section of specialised duties performed by union members to increase productivity and to promote good industrial relations between members and the employers.
