We Care for U Project

(update: 1 October 2009)

Wondering that what WeCare for U Project is all about? Well, it is an initiative by the NTUC Women's Development Secretariat (WDS) to reach out to all the single mums and children.

WeCare for U aims to help single mums and children to build stronger bonds with each other. WDS will organize various programmes and activities, and provide job assistance for them. Most importantly, WeCare for U wants to form firm friendships with these single mums.

If you know of anyone who would require our help, do let us know.
Call us at 6213 8573 or email to wds@ntuc.org.sg.

Thanks and let's do our part to help the others!

With the new installation, the traffic flow will be revised as follows, with effect from 02 Jan 2009:

Vehicular Traffic

At the North Gate, vehicles will be granted entry and exit throughout the day. The vehicular movement will be regulated by the newly-installed traffic lights.

At the Central Gate, vehicles will NOT be granted entry and exit, unless for special reasons (e.g. transportation of oversized aircraft parts).

At the East Gate, no change to existing procedures.

Pedestrian Traffic

Staff entering and leaving ALH can use both the North Gate and Central Gate turnstiles throughout the day, including the evening peak hours.

The years of my serving you as the General Secretary of SIASU has given me the opportunity to develop myself to know whom I have served personally or generally has been very challenging and exciting. I thank you all for making it happened. The support and the enormous cooperation extended to my colleagues and myself to be part of this “Great” Union (SIASU) we had together made it to what it is today.

The Nobel Peace Prize-winning activist Nelson Mandela, who helped to defeat the apartheid system that has kept his fellow South Africans in submission for a century, said: “It is what we make out of what we have, not what we are given, that separates one person from another” Expect the treatment one deserves for being the fully evolved human being you were created to be!

For the many years to come and for us to move forward together, I am confident that the newly appointed General Secretary Comrade Ratha will strive towards achieving greater and better relationship with all our members including the Management Team of the various Companies. I am also positively certain that he shall be accorded with the similar support that was given to me by the majority of our SIASU members.

Comrade Alan Tan, the President, Comrade Rathakrishnan, the incoming General Secretary and Comrade Daniel Davidson, the Executive Secretary together with the other Principal Officials and the Executive Council under their charge will stay committed of their responsibilities so long as the support and cooperation continue to be motivated allowing them to give the best of themselves to achieve the best that they can accomplish all for the good of the Organization.

Finally may I take this opportunity again to wish all of you the best in everything you do. May your hard work and commitment through good spirits and positive mind-set as employees of this Company overcome the challenges by staying committed in your own abilities, encouraged, motivated and inspired to take the path towards fulfillment, joy, and success for the benefit of all concerned.

My Best Wishes to all of you.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year SUCCESS WILL COME TO YOU IF YOU GO FOR IT, LETS DO IT TOGETHER WITH A WINNING ATTITUDE, ANY THING IS POSSIBLE !

Thank you

Yours fraternally,

Mohd Hussain Kassim
General Secretary
